TPC Trading’s policy against child labour

Our business operates in Sweden and abroad. Trade with goods includes a responsibility for human beings. This means that we affect many people’s lives every day.

We have a unique position as a link between consumer and producer.

Thus we, within our trade actively contribute by making sure that producers in their work show respect to those valuations that we and our customers find essential/important. Respect for the dignity and worth of each individual, regardless of race, nationality, gender, religion and age.

We strive to increase the understanding for humans and most of all children’s right to survival, welfare and essential needs, such as health and education.

TPC’s objective

We demand our producers respect and follow their national laws for work labour and the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child.

We are convinced that the way to elimination of harmful child labour comes through:

• – An increased economical growth through trading
• – Combined with observance of laws about children’s rights
• – An aware engagement in children’s rights in poor countries.
